I’m always on the look out for inventive music videos. There is only ever so much you can do with a limited budget but the key to a great promotional video is always going to be the ‘concept’. If you can nail the concept then I really believe the production of it can be worked out, however no amount of fancy production or expensive editing will ever save a bad idea!

Oren Lavie seems to be a little creative dynamo listing himself as a play write, animator, childrens book author and musician in his biog. Together with Israeli film directors Yuval and Merav Nathan he put together this gorgeous little animated video put together from 3225 still photographs. The concept is so beautifully simple and elegantly executed that it’s taken the web by storm and continues to ‘go viral’ and provide a massive promotional platform for Oren’s music which in its self is quite wonderful.
