I think 10,000 is probably closer. if 1000 peeps bought your annual release for $10 thats $10,000 a year divided by numnber of peeps in the band. not really a big annual income/. but $100,000 divided by 4 band members is $25,000 each not bad plus touring and merch. you can actually survive financially with 10,000 dedicated fans. of course minus manufacturing costsa and promotional costs brings these nnumbers down a lot . thats why is usually always a labor of love.
