Elk began as a home recording project. Eric Luoma, former singer and frontman for the alt-country band Bellwether, was recording lo-fi acoustic based songs with his wife, Kari on piano and violin. Just received these great trippy tracks from Defend The Melody, Australian based but touring internationally it looks like it could be a really beautiful album when it’s released on Payne Street Records.
