]]> The VanguardsHailing from the out skirts of Manchester hard edged, sub pop, band The Vanguards have been working in the studio producing tracks and playing round the UK in 2008, with their latest single ‘Regress’ being a hit with the local and student press and radio.

Within months of forming, The Vanguards were recording in The Charlatans studio, Big Mushroom, with legendary production duo Dave Tolan and Jim Spencer at the helm. Famed for their work with great British bands such as Primal Scream, The Charlatans and Tears for Fears the production gurus have taken hold of The Vanguards and created a fresh new truly British alternative indie sound.

Really like this indie band from Manchester, looking forward to what they’re going to be doing later this year after releasing this debut single in June.
